In late 2008, Carrington Dean, in conjunction with the Daily Record, published and distributed a booklet, "Personal Debt Solutions Made Easy", to all Daily Record readers. This short book was written by Peter Dean, the Managing Director of The Carrington Dean Group, as a simple guide to help individuals in Scotland who have debt worries.

Debt problems do have solutions - the trick is to recognise the problem and do something about it sooner rather than later. Ignored debt problems always get worse never better. The book teaches individuals how to calculate their disposable income (DI), understand the different financial solutions available to them and how to review their finances in the privacy of their own home.
